In our first private class with Jessie, she walked us step-by-step through a set of simple training tasks. We were as nervous as our dog as she kindly repositioned our hands, corrected our voice commands, and encouraged us at each and every step. Fast forward a couple months and we were confidently working on off leash reliability with our high prey drive dog. All of us, our dog included, were having a blast. Jessie is so welcoming, endlessly encouraging, and incredibly supportive. We are forever grateful that we were able to work with her so much so when we got our second dog, training with Jessie was a must. “We have the goodest dog and a huge part of that is due to Jessie. We started working with Jessie when our pup, Penny was about 16weeks old. We needed Penny to listen and know basic cues like “come” and “stay” and leash training since I’m a runner and I wanted a buddy to run with. We (the entire family came to sessions) worked with Jessie weekly for 8 weeks with each session being an hour. She also gave us homework to help cement what Penny learned. All of this was fun, engaging and the best part is, is that it all worked. Jessie is patient, she knows what she is doing and the biggest chunk of what we took away from sessions is how to cue and communicate with our pup so it wasn’t confusing for Penny. We learned the basics with Jessie almost 5 years ago and what we all learned still works. Our dog has the best recall on the planet with visual and/or verbal queues. She has a strong sit stay and all of this has to do with our fundamentals we learned from Jessie. It feels really good when you have a smart dog who listens.” - Sara
